I’ve been a bit fan of OpenDNS for a few years now and Lifehacker posted an update today saying that their premium service has added a few more useful features. If you’re not already using OpenDNS it’s basically an alternative DNS service that you can add to your home router, PC, etc. as an alternative to your ISPs own DNS servers. This may result in more reliability in navigating various end points on the internet, and maybe a bit of speed too in resolving domain names. The benefits can be a little subjective, but it won’t hurt to give it a try if you haven’t before. I can say that I recommend OpenDNS! Original post at Lifehacker below.
