Well that was fast. Although it was initially thought that only the source code to Google’s Chrome OS would be released yesterday, it looks like they went a step further and released an image. This is sadly not a bootable ISO file, but instead a VMWare image so that you can test out the operating system using either VMWare Player, or (my preference) VirtualBox.
Below you will find some download links to the image, an install guide with VirtualBox from TechCrunch, and finally a video demo of the OS from yesterday’s conference.
